Recently Android Developers team released Android Training on their official website for free.

It’s just the beginning. Android Developers team plan to add many more classes, expand and refine existing classes, and build Training Courses that help you enhance your apps using objective-oriented collections of classes.

You’ll find a collection of classes that aim to help you build great apps for Android, using best practices in a variety of framework topics such as Designing for Multiple Screens, Optimizing Battery Life, Developing for Enterprise, Monetizing Your App and Designing Effective Navigation.

There are so many Sample Code that you can learn from and also Troubleshooting Tips for common Android errors. So let’s create Android app.

Dell Streak to Hit Japan with Android 2.2

When you purchased Dell Streak apparently got Android 1.6. But now you should try to follow for instruction on how to update it to Android 2.1 on O2 official website.

Recently SoftBank in Japan announced SoftBank 001DL aka Dell Streak featuring Android 2.2 with Dell Stage. SoftBank will begin taking pre-orders on November 12th, with the first shipment expected in early December.

How to Enable Multitouch on Nexus One Web Browser

Earlier this month, Google started selling Nexus One as the first super phone that would be sold by the company itself, rather than a manufacturing or carrier partner.

One of the minus point of Google Nexus One because didn’t ship with a multitouch capable web browser even though the hardware and Android 2.1 OS is fully capable of doing it.

Nexus One has a touchscreen but users can only tap on it with one finger. So none of the two-finger pinch-and-zoom gestures that are popular among iPhone users are available in Nexus One’s native web browser.Apparently because the issue of iPhone’s copyright in US market. Posibly N1 outside US has multitouch capable web browser.

Google Statement Regarding Nexus One 3G Connectivity Complaint in Singapore

On January 10, The Straits Times reported that several Nexus One owner seem to have experienced 3G problem.

Especially what happen to the Straits Times correspondent Oo Gin Lee, 40, probably the first buyer in Singapore to have received his set yesterday (January 9), said his new toy could not connect to the Internet on his telco’s 3G network.The problem persisted after he rebooted the phone twice and checked his Internet settings thrice.”I expected a lot from Google, so I am very disappointed,” said the self-professed geek who writes for the paper’s Digital Life publication.
